We specialise in the Waikato/Bay of Plenty region, but you can go wherever you want – we’ll talk you through the options that best meet your needs and have all the insights and contacts to help make it happen.

That’s up to you. We can provide a guide for all your transfer needs, or we can arrange rental vehicles to suit your group requirements.

We can cater for whatever you need. You might be touring alone or have a dozen or more – we work to your needs, not ours.

You’re in luck, golf is year-round in NZ.
In the summer months (Dec - Feb) we have over 14 hours of daylight so it’s possible to be out on course after 8.00pm in full light. In the winter months (Jun - Aug) our days are down to about 8-9 hours with playing light all but gone by 5.00pm.

Frost delays come into play during the cold months, especially in the NZ interior and increasingly as you head further south. Many of the Bay of Plenty courses are coastal where frost delays aren’t much of an issue.

A lot of clubs run as professional businesses – fully staffed with the usual facilities. Carts are available along with cloud-based tee booking allotments that Vivid sorts before you travel.

But there are also clubs that are run and maintained by volunteers – carts aren’t available, and many operate manual tee sheets. That’s not to say they aren’t worth visiting – it’s all about setting expectations and the standard of facilities you might experience.
If you plan to visit some of these unique locations, packing a lightweight stand-bag is your best option and we’ll give you a rating of how easy they are to walk.

But don’t discard these venues! There’s something uniquely “Kiwi” about being the only group on a golf course without another soul in sight. When was the last time you did that?

There are a handful of exclusive clubs that we’re more than happy to make an approach to on your behalf, and there are a lot of member clubs that have certain days or times that are “members only”.

But 99% of clubs readily accept, and enjoy, visits from overseas players.

Hmmmm, that’s a tough one.
NZ is long, narrow, and isolated. We’re surrounded by the Pacific and Southern Ocean with the Tasman Sea squeezed between us and our Aussie neighbours. The far north borders on a sub-tropical climate, the deep south can get snow to sea level.

When it’s good, it’s very very good. When it’s bad, it’s bad. Sorry.

Our sun is very harsh – burn times in peak summer are extremely short and you should always use quality sunscreen to protect yourself.

Come prepared – our weather systems pass through quickly so you can have a real mix of conditions in a short space of time.

With the rare exception, all of our clubs offer a no play, no pay policy so you’ll be refunded for tee bookings that you cannot meet.
